Getting killed by a drunk driver is sad, but the real tragedy is when the drunk driver is a promising young white man.
On the evening of September 26th, 2019, 9-year old Layla C. Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident. Even more tragically, 20-year old Todd O’Donnell, an affluent white man from Sandy Springs, Georgia, had his promising young life destroyed forever when he accidentally downed six shots of vodka and immediately got behind the wheel, mowing down Jackson and mistakenly fleeing from the scene.
O’Donnell had just started summer vacation after his junior year at Stanford University. A promising young man, he failed nearly all of his courses, but his father, wealthy oil exec Daniel O’Donnell donated millions to the university and has a plaque with his name on the Stanford School of Business building. Todd, co-president of the very white Fi Kappa Psi fraternity, is remembered by his fraternity brothers as, “A super chill dude,” “My nigga,” and “The biggest gangsta on campus.”
In the short time that O’Donnell had blessed our unworthy mortal plane, he enjoyed such hobbies as playing beer pong, hazing terrified young freshmen by making them strip naked and whipping their butt cheeks until they bled, and date raping young women at college parties. He is survived by everyone, including himself.
Layla Jackson is also in this obituary since she’s the one who got herself killed in O’Donnell’s tragic, life-changing accident. She was a second grader, probably. Or maybe a fourth grader. She was outside in her yard when O’Donnell lost control of his vehicle and swerved into her. That's pretty sad for her, but it's even more tragic for O’Donnell, whose life is now ruined all because he made one tiny mistake. I mean, don't we all make mistakes? And if you think about it, what was this little 9-year old bitch doing out in her yard at 9 o’clock at night? Wasn't she thinking of anyone but herself? She ruined someone’s life!
O’Donnell was charged with driving under the influence and reckless endangerment and was sentenced to twelve hours of community service. Twelve hours of his life that he'll never get back. He was also suspended from Stanford, but thankfully, his father was able to pay the school to have him reinstated as soon as all of this hullabaloo is forgotten, which should be by sometime this Thursday.
A public kegger will be held at the O’Donnell manor to honor O’Donnell’s life and accomplishments. O’Donnell will be present, knocking back drinks like an absolute G.
Layla Jackson’s family will be holding a private memorial somewhere near her house, at some point, most likely.
